I love pop music which means I spend a lot of my time watching MTV and Trace TV. (Don’t judge. Those stations are very enlightening, you know 😉 ) Anyway, one day I was watching MTV and saw a short video of two girls who had won an MTV competition and were enjoying their prize which was a holiday in Zanzibar. My interest was piqued. Where was Zanzibar? And how did the country arrive at such a cool-sounding name? Today, I know that Zanzibar is a group of islands of the East-African coast. It is a largely Muslim country known for its laid-back style of living, its beautiful beaches and I can’t wait to go there.
