If the last Living in Lagos post I did had a food theme, then this one has an ‘events in Lagos I went to’ theme. These weren’t society events so nobody get excited; they were mostly just things I liked and decided to go to. Most of these pictures were taken at night and are not the sharpest ever so please bear with me. 🙂
I went to MUSON to watch their annual music festival and stopped to admire the skills of the cultural dancers performing outside the hall.
This is a picture from the MUSON music festival itself. The singing was really beautiful.
I went to Freedom Park one evening and happened on a performance by a group whose name I sadly can’t remember. It was the same night I saw Segun Violin perform.
This picture is from the Society of Performing Arts Festival which held recently. There were quite a few interesting upcoming Nigerian artists there so if you’re a music act spotter, you should make sure you’re at the next one.
I went to the Lost in Lagos Live fair. I didn’t buy anything but still it was an interesting venue. There was even a sex toy stall there!
