Living in Lagos (March 2013)

This is not just any garden.  It’s a stage.  If you don’t believe me, look at the next photograph.

See, I told you it was a stage.  British Council Lagos held the first Lagos Theatre Festival in ‘unconventional spaces’ so none of the plays held on a real stage.  One held in the Presidential Suite of Eko Hotel, another in a restaurant and the one I watched in a garden.  It was a totally unique experience – one I enjoyed.

Tuwo.  I hadn’t had this in years until this time.  It was a welcome change from eba which I get tired of.

My brother rides a bike and it’s always cool seeing a group of them arrive at a place together.

This is typical of Lagos or maybe Nigeria and it made me smile.
