I did this nail look using sellotape. I painted the accent nail black first, waited for the polish to dry completely, put a triangle of tape on the nail, painted over the entire nail (and tape) with the bright blue polish then removed the tape while the polish was still wet. Using tape is fiddly so it’s not one of my favourite nail design methods but I have to admit, its effect can be dramatic.
