Some women find that they keep attracting the same sort of unsuitable men over and over again, from narcissists to fuck-boys to violent men and so on. In order to start attracting the right kind of men, it helps to know WHY you keep attracting the wrong ones and that’s why I’m here today. Today, I’m going to be talking about why you keep attracting narcissists.

Before we go into why you keep attracting narcissists, it makes sense for us to talk about what a narcissist is in the first place. Both men and women can be narcissists but I’m going to be focusing today on narcissistic men. Simply put, a narcissist is someone who is focused on themselves. They can only understand the world and relationships in particular, as it relates to them. They make everything about themselves. They think the world of themselves.
A narcissist has little or no regard for anyone else’s feelings, only their own feelings matter, especially when it comes to relationships. They have an excessive need for attention and admiration. They tend to show that they think that they’re superior to their partners and they seek perfection in their partners even though they aren’t perfect themselves. Does that describe anybody you know or any of your past boyfriends? If it does, then you’ve come to the right place.
From the description I’ve just given, we can see that a narcissist is definitely not the kind of person that can give anyone a happy relationship. So why do some women keep attracting narcissists? There are many reasons for this but the main reason why a woman would keep attracting narcissists is because of low self-esteem. It’s important to note here that it’s possible for someone to have low self-esteem and not admit it or not even realise it. So, if you think you have to take love wherever you can get it, if you think that you’re not worthy of someone who would make you happy, if you think no-one else will love you so you have to take whatever partner that you get, you will keep attracting narcissists.
The way to put an end to attracting narcissists is to work on improving your self-confidence or your self-esteem.
